Job description:
Systems administration and support
- As expert support and train all team members, improve knowledge database, write and update procedures and documentation, – Solve complex problems and propose improvements within functioning of Unix O/S – Defining and implementing technical changes (installation, parameter setting, configuration and integration), – Planning, defining, implementing and inspecting activities related to the following domains: – Homogenization of Unix platform, – Develop new tools in order to automate recurrent tasks and improve our quality (scripting in SHELL, Perl, AWK), – Taking part in “capacity planning” – Defining system logical access controls and security solutions (logical security/antivirus/encryption), – Controlling violations of access to networks/systems/applications and applying standards by audits, – Conducting “tuning”: evaluating system performance, predicting saturations and forecasting workload build-ups.
Deployment
- Implementing deployment engineering, – Specifying methods, techniques, tools, installation procedures, tests and operating procedures for mass changes of existing infrastructures, – Planning operation with users and corporate services, – Support all technician and administrators involved on requests and incidents management, – Resolving deployment complex incidents
