Randstad Engineering for over ten years specializes in search and selection of highly qualified professionals and managers for the manufacturing, supply chain and construction sectors.

For our Client, brand new aerospace company, we are currently looking for:

quality engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and work with support functions viz. design, Manufacturing, Purchase and projects and provide necessary support
  • Prepare and implement Quality Inspection Instructions specific to each work area and product type in the manufacturing process.
  • Document & Report the Quality metrics on Rejects, Reworks, Right First time and Process Capability indices to required stake holders
  • Work with cross-functional teams, local experts, partners and suppliers to ensure technical aspects of manufacturing processes are understood and accounted for as required
  • Support in review and approval of the FAI, LAI & PPAP requirements.
  • Support the investigation of all non-conformance reports and all responses using proven Problem solving methodology.
  • Create inspection planning documents such as Technical Instructions, SOP’s,
  • Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement


Requirements:

  • Good knowledge on various manufacturing processes
  • Fully conversant reading Engineering & Manufacturing Drawings
  • Sound knowledge interpreting the GD&T (standards ASME Y 14.5, JES 161)
  • Sound knowledge in Measurements system analysis ( MSA)
  • Hands on experience in using all types of Measuring & Testing equipments , both contact - non-contact, analog & digital
  • Able to support Root Cause analysis and implementation of problem solving techniques
  • Knowledge of NDT and special process techniques
  • Working knowledge on Concessions, containment procedures and traceability techniques
  • Awareness of aerospace/auto quality requirements (AS9100, OSHAS, TS 16949, various ISO )

  • Knowledge of MS Office package
  • Knowledge of Minitab, Ace tools, SAP, CAD tools: UG/NX (starter level)
  • Good understanding of Gas Turbine Engine Components
