Job Opportunity for System Engineer for Base Station (BTS)

LSJ is searching for experienced System Engineers for our client – international company providing IT, R&D and consulting services for the telecom and media industry, based in Poland. Responsibilities:

• modeling of BTS embedded software behavior (in terms of the interface design including message flow definition)
• designing the split of functions between software components within the BTS
• documenting the functional requirements
• Your work will be a direct input for any software development and software integration activities.
• You will meet the challenges and explore the area of leading mobile communication technologies, including UMTS and LTE.

• As System Engineer for Base Station you will be a part of local specification team, however the daily work will be performed within the international team of system architects, product managers, software engineers and integration engineers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Telecommunications or other corresponding area
• knowledge of software design techniques (e.g. UML, MSC, etc)
• fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Following additional requirements are not mandatory but they will be a clear advantage:
• experience in SW engineering (development or design or analysis)
• knowledge within telecommunication area

• knowledge and experience in system design and requirement engineering
