Software Designer
For our client, well-know telecommunication company, we are currently looking for qualified Software Designers.
Location: Athlone, Ireland
Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of Solaris platform and extensive experience designing applications for a Solaris run time environment;
• Competence in Clear case and clear case build environment;
• Competence in Agile & TDD Ways of working with Team Lead or Scrum Master experience;
• Strong telecoms knowledge;
• Extensive experience in developing large scale Java server components capable of large volume transaction handling;
• Continuous Integration (Hudson, Maven, etc),
• Perl, Basic Unix;
• Extensive knowledge of JVM tuning and trouble shooting;
• Extensive experience in developing multithreaded server side applications with knowledge of thread and thread pool management;
• Memory profiling and optimization;
• Capable of Troubleshooting Core Dumps;
• Design experience in some or all of the following technologies: Spring Framework, Eclipse RCP, OSGI, Active M messaging, Sybase IQ.
