The role is for an experienced developer, with a primary skill set of Java, Spring and Hibernate. The technology stack is Java/Spring/Hibernate/Oracle/Maven/UNIX/Linux/C#/.NET.
Development practices are Scrum/Agile. There is a strong emphasis on quality and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all code is scalable, well designed, and maintainable and unit tested before release.
The role will involve:
• Analysing business requirements
• Designing solutions
• Writing code
• Implementing automated tests
• Contributing towards release and iteration planning
• Liaison with dedicated QA teams to ensure all tests are completed
Requirements:
• Clean coding skills.
• Excellent problem solving ability.
• Enthusiasm for agile development (Scrum, XP, etc.) - mention whichever / if any other used
• Knowledge of design patterns and refactoring techniques.
• Fluency with source control systems (Subversion, Git) - mention whichever / if any other used
• Experience with unit testing and automation testing frameworks (e.g. jUnit, TestNG) - mention whichever / if any other used
• Experience with build tools and continuous integration ( e.g. Hudson) - mention whichever / if any other used
• Experience with project and issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) - mention whichever / if any other used
• Experience in development in Java, Spring and Hibernate
• Working knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle)
