Test Designer
Our Client is an international company offering business solutions, technological applications support and outsourcing services. Right now, we are looking for experienced Candidates for position Test Designer.
Responsibilities:
- Review product functional and non-functional requirements and create test cases. Specify and execute manual and automated test cases, peer reviewing the test cases
- Assist in development of test plans, implementing improvements in test methods and strategie
- Depending on the level of the integration/build (product or component), appropriate testing (and corresponding bug-fixing) must be performed, in accordance with the Test Plan
- Test Team members develop, implement and execute the test strategies and test plan
- Senior Team members provide guidance & support to junior members of the team regarding the execution of test methodologies and test automation practices. Senior Team member plays a critical role in planning, monitoring and successful deployment of various releases to production environment, assigns testing areas to Software Testing Engineers (Testers) allocated for a specific software product
Requirements:
- Qualification in software development or related field
- 3+ years post qualification experience
- Software testing and development methodologies
- Software functional testing
- Data Warehouse testing
- Testing of ETL applications that perform data movement and populate data warehouses
- Understanding of test automation principles; experience in different tools is advantage
- Basic understanding of test frameworks
- Version control and defect tracking systems
- Agile Development Experience
- Fluency in English and good English writing skills to liaise with other teams, support staff, end users and business management people
Plus experience:
- Understanding Java / J2EE or C# / .NET technologies
- Practical experience in RDBMS systems (like Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase)
- Experience in Data Warehouses (preferably Oracle)
- Knowledge of ETL Tools
