SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
For our Client, the Europe’s leading flight search Engine, offering a flexible, fast and independent solution to finding flights on the web, we are looking for candidates on a position of:
SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER (English Speaker)
[ref. No 470]
in Edinburgh, UK.
The Senior Web Developer must be able to take ownership of a piece of work through the full lifecycle from receiving the business requirements through to delivery, with minimal management support. However, they will also be required to work collaboratively with other members of the team on larger projects where they may be leading or mentoring less experienced members or working under the direction of a PM.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Delivery of web development on various projects relating to our core site.
-Taking business requirements & producing:
Technical solution designs
Technical specifications
Estimates & schedules for solution delivery
Quality code
-Advise on new features, including developing architecture to advance the technology.
-Development of clear guidelines and standards for our web development.
-Responsible for the quality of our web code.
IF YOU HAVE:
-Significant experience of developing ASP.NET web applications in C#.
-Experience of developing dynamic AJAX-driven websites using JavaScript and CSS.
-Experience of developing XML-based Web Services
-Reasonable SQL skills.
-Public user-facing website experience.
-A strong desire to deliver high quality solutions on time.
