Agile Project Manager
SetJam, an international startup based in New York and Warsaw, had just been acquired by Motorola Mobility. We are looking for a kickass agile Project Manager (“Scrum Master”) to manage our 10 person team in Warsaw, and help interface with other development divisions.
WHO YOU ARE
- A hyper-organized agile project manager or “scrum master” who likes managing small, collaborative teams.
- A natural leader capable of inspiring confidence and teamwork.
- A great communicator and fluent English speaker.
- Someone who can talk intelligently about web products and technologies.
- Someone who can explain complex technologies in simple language.
- (Bonus points if you’re a current or ex-programmer.)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be a link between our New York and Warsaw offices, and help interface with other divisions of our corporate parent.
- File development tickets, and manage them through weekly releases.
- Lead daily scrum meetings in Warsaw, and participate in cross-functional scrums.
- Lead weekly Sprint Planning meetings and make sure tickets are properly assigned.
- Keep people in the Warsaw office happy and productive by removing obstacles, and proactively making sure that the right conversations take place and decisions are made.
- Fit in with a close-knit team that likes hanging out, drinking, and having fun together.
- Travel to the US periodically to work with the New York office and meet with customers.
