Software Quality Engineer Associate – Nr ref. (02/76)

Małopolskie, Kraków

Position description:

• Develops and executes software test plans;
• Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures;
• Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software;
• Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems;
• Designs, codes and executes automated test scripts. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions;

• Prepares reports and documentation updates. Technical consulting on automation issues, tools and processes.

Essential job requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent;
• Scripting experience including UNIX, Java;
• Testing experience with Agile/Iterative Development preferred;
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA;
• Experience with test tools including JMeter, XML/OTA tools;
• Airline Industry experience a plus including reservation desk, Tariff, Shopping;
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal;
• Experience working with global teams;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/subprojects simultaneously, organizational skills;

• Takes initiative in handling issues that arise during testing.
