Networking Specialist – Nr ref. (04/04)
Kujawsko-pomorskie, Bydgoszcz
Position description:
The primary purpose of the Networking Specialist / Networking Engineer is to provide technical support on such network appliances as: access points, switches, routers, load balancers, traffic optimizers. This support is provided to a large number of customers ensuring that the service meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
Essential job requirements:
- Good knowledge and experience of networking and security services
- Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) qualification
- Good knowledge of the physical configuration of IT systems
- Experience of a client/server environment
- Skills and experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
- Linux/Unix foundations
- Ability to structure and draft technical documentation
- Methodical and disciplined approach to work
- Good interpersonal skills and customer handling skills
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Very good command of English (verbal and writing)
Additional job requirements:
- Knowledge or experience in: Cisco, H3C, 3Com, HP, Nortel, Avaya network solutions
- Knowledge or experience in load balancing and WAN optimization solutions
- Cisco CCNP (or the equivalent) qualification
- Knowledge in management network tools
- Second foreign language (French or German)
