Senior Software Quality Engineer- Nr ref. (02/66)

Position description:

• Under general direction, debugs complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products;
• Design, code and execute automated test scripts;
• Prepare reports and documentation updates;
• Technical consulting on automation issues, tools and processes;
• Develops and executes software test plans;
• Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures;
• Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action;

• Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Essential job requirements:

• B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent;
• 5+ years experience in testing application software;
• Good knowledge of test methodologies;
• Good knowledge about test process and development process methodologies;
• Experience in automated test strategy definition;
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking;
• Strong automation approach;
• Wide experience in test script automation;
• Good automated test tools experience (QTP, SOAtest 6.x, Selenium or similar);
• Strong coding/scripting languages experience (java, groovy, python, unix shell or similar);
• Experience in defining and building automated test framework architecture;
• Automated test management knowledge;
• Experience in stand alone GUI application testing;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Very good interpersonal skills;

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional job requirements:

• Experience with Back End system testing;

• Positive attitude and good sense of humor.
