Senior Software QA Engineering – Nr ref. (02/68)

Position description:

• Under general direction, debugs complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products;
• Design, code and execute automated test scripts;
• Prepare reports and documentation updates;
• Technical consulting on automation issues, tools and processes;
• Develops and executes software test plans;
• Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures;
• Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action;

• Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Essential job requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and several years experience in testing or development;
• Software development experience with C++, Java and/or Perl;
• Experience in creating detailed test plans and test cases for complex software systems;
• Experience with Agile testing methodologies (XP, Scrum);

• Experience with functional, performance and stress testing for both web applications and back end services Experience with debugging and analysis in a Unix/Linux environment;

Additional job requirements:

• Experience developing automated testing tools and frameworks;
• Experience with databases, SQL, XML, CSS and JavaScript;
• Strong analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to difficult problems;

• Experience in functional & non-functional testing, technical skills (Java/ development/engineering related).
