Senior Java Developer – Nr ref. (02/77)

Małopolskie, Kraków

Position description:

• Designs, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity;
• Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions;
• Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology;
• May create optimization programs to resolve problems;
• Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them;
• Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements;
• May design and build prototype applications;

• Cooperates with a European team (main offices are located in Poland and Germany).

Essential job requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology;
• Good English language skills written and verbal;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in developing Java applications;
• Excellent Object Oriented design and programming practices knowledge;
• Great Java programming skills;
• Experience with Web applications development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS;
• Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux;

• Excellent team work, ability to work in virtual teams.

Additional job requirements:

• Good knowledge of XML, XSLT;
• Good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate;
• Knowledge of Tomcat, ServiceMix, Camel;
• Experience in SOA, JAXB, Ivy, Ant;

• Experience with SQL and mainstream relational database engines.
