Wintel Technical Lead

Responsibilities:
- maintain expert knowledge on common-used concepts, practices and procedures within the domain of expertise – develop and document detailed instruction to install and upgrade the OS and other software products within the delivery project environment – evaluate, test, document and recommend enhancements/changes to the current IT Infrastructure Architecture – configure, install and deploy new messaging infrastructure system and infrastructure software – mentor and develop junior staff members (Engineers, Technical Specialists) – master the technical expertise within the problem management process – lead the technical research during standard setting and within Incident and Problem management processes – make a maintenance / lifecycle product plan and communicate to IT Functional Manager for consolidation according requirements & milestones – provide planning and team leadership role for maintenance tasks and projects – evaluate and execute performance and tuning measures for supported platform – take a lead role working with vendors and other inter-departmental groups to analyze and debug software problems impacting system availability – developing strategies to keep environments up-to-date as required – drive product evolution, usage, ROI, changes within the Tenneco organization – maintain close relationship with product vendor to maximize product benefits for Tenneco – actively train, coach and transfer product knowledge to the organization (both technically and functional) – perform Wintel/Notes administration tasks (troubleshoot Server, AD and Lotus Notes Server issues, log problems with MSSupport, log changes to Change Management; perform consolidation and performance tuning /sizing tasks; perform AD performance monitoring and tuning) – perform hardware and software error analysis according to MS, IBM & HP specification
Requirements:
* university degree in Computer Science or similar * 5+ years of directly relevant practical experience in relevant technical domains * experience in acting as technical leader strongly desired * excellent written and verbal communication skills in English * advanced knowledge about Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware installation and configuration and associated platform standard tools, utilities and peripheral third party products * ability to analyze users` requirements and to provide input to help determine corporate computer hardware, software and configuration standards * advanced knowledge and understanding of server infrastructure and network connectivity to the platform * in-depth knowledge and understanding of server computing (hardware, software, peripherals and services * extensive experience with Monitoring KPIs, database, all application processes, interfaces and tuning the required parameters and necessary actions for better performance * time Management skills, ability to work in a very disciplined project mode * ability to coordinate, troubleshoot, and support through different time zones * proactivity and excellent problem solving skills * strong written and verbal communication skills * decision making & leadership skills * team player with a positive attitude * pragmatic and solution driven * well developed analytical and diagnostic skills * experience with Lotus Notes administration will be a strong plusProsimy o przesłanie aplikacji (CV i listu motywacyjnego) z numerem ref. wyłącznie w formie elektronicznej na adres e-mail: 2940@praca.testhr.pl
