IoT Specialist / Junior Specialist (Java&JS)

We are looking for programmers to work on IoT projects. To get started in this area, you need a good understanding of Java, or possibly another object-oriented language, and a basic understanding of JavaScript. Work begins with a technological implementation – IoT Academy – a series of training courses on various types of issues, e.g. IoT, Industrial IoT, ML/AI, Cloud, etc., during which our experts provide knowledge not only about technologies but also about good practices.

Responsibilities:
• Development and maintenance of applications and systems supporting industry;
• Business solutions implementation based on ThingWorx platform, Java and JavaScript
• Creation of integration and connectivity solutions for devices and systems;
• Support for the implementation of IoT systems, aimed at helping clients develop their business processes and allow them to start digital transformation in their companies
• Development of the idea, plan and implementation of the IoT software project along with technical documentation
• Possibility of development towards consulting skills – work in international environment

Requirements:
• Very good knowledge of Java (or any other leading object-oriented languages)
• Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented programming methodology
• Very good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Medium knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Basic knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP)
• Experience in working with the Git repository
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum techniques
• The ability to think analytically
• Full-time availability

Nice to have:
• Consulting skills, ability to discuss and drive customer, customer-facing skills
• Ability to create web services based on REST
• Experience working with ThingWorx or other IoT Platforms
• Knowledge of the Python or C# language will be an additional advantage
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure / AWS)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of ML/AI
• Knowledge of Mobile technologies (Android, Swift, Ionic)
