Your challenge:
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller able to develop and maintain detailed logical and physical data models using UML class notation. Data Modeler should have skills in area of data modelling and design, information governance and security and business analysis. Data Modeler will work closely with the Data Modelling Lead to ensure consistent implementation of data modelling processes, including data identification, prioritization, and documentation.

The Enterprise Data Model (EDM) holds the detailed definitions of, and relationships between business concepts (e.g. Vendor, Customer). This fully attributed class model support business rule definitions, physical data model mapping, and much more.

Curious about your responsibilities? You will be:
maintaining the content of the Enterprise Data Model (EDM);
producing instances of EDM presentation artefacts (diagrams, reports, etc.) as required;
applying the data modelling standards and guidelines used in the development and upkeep of the EDM;
executing the procedures for maintaining and publishing the EDM content;
the Data Modeler reports to the Lead Data Modeler;

Ready to apply? First check if you:

have extensive experience with UML class models, including navigable associations, generalisation sets, association roles
have extensive experience with UML state machines
have experience of designing RESTful API models using XSDs or JSON schemas
be able to relate platform specific models to a platform independent model
be able to relate a platform independent model to the EDM
have developed data models for many of the following concepts:
Organization
Person
Supplier/Vendor
Customer
Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Supplier Invoice
Customer Order, Invoice
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
Payments, Receipts
Saleable Product
Purchased Material
have extensive experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect, or similar UML tools
have professional level of English with excellent team collaboration skills

Nice to have:
have experience of modelling processes using BPMN 2
hold an OMG OCUP-2 certification
you are able to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment

2nd Meeting with co-founder and Head of Delivery and Cloud Services at the.good.code; approx 45 min meeting.

3rd Meeting with a Client’s Team Representative- approx 1-hour meeting where you will have a chance to find out more about the project scope and learn more about the client’s team and way of working.

If everything goes well, you will be invited for the final interview with the client to discuss the details of the collaboration.
